Our expert instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to introducing new surfers to the ocean and helping retired surfers get back in the water. We believe that surfing is not just a sport, but a way of life, and we are passionate about sharing this with our students. When you sign up for a lesson with us, you can expect a comprehensive experience that includes board rental and the option to rent a wetsuit on site. We want you to be comfortable and prepared for your lesson, so we recommend bringing your own towel and water. Our Private lesson is a truly remarkable experience that is designed to give you all the tools and techniques you need to start a lifetime of surfing. Our expert instructors will break down 20 years of surfing expertise into a 20-minute on-land session, and then spend 70 minutes testing your skills in the water with the instructor helping your surfboard take flight. When you come to Oceanside Surf School, be sure to bring surf-ready water wear, rash guards are recommended, and if you would like to use your own equipment, please notify us ahead of time. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in the water, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible experience.
